A name, a face, a pool.

You summon a creature, attach a token, and sign one transaction. Ink opens the pool. This page is what the studio is doing while you click.

What you are launching

Each Bouby is a creature drawn from its name: a body, eyes, a mouth, a mark, and a color. Repeat the name and the same face comes back.

The token launches on Ink through Hookit, on a Uniswap v4 pool. The pool is live from the first block, and the liquidity locks in that transaction. Swaps pay the pair you chose. They do not pay the new token.

Four moves

  1. 01

    Summon

Type a name. Five traits arrive with the face. Launch that creature once, and the name stays taken.

  2. 02

    Make the token

Set the name, the ticker, a description, and keep the portrait. Connect the X account that belongs to this coin. A website can wait. Creator fees land in the wallet that signs.

  3. 03

    Set this token's hooks

The hook tax, the split, and the holder clock belong to this token. Another Bouby can use different numbers. Move them here, then sign. The transaction keeps the values you left.

  4. 04

    Sign on Ink

Connect MetaMask, Rabby, or Phantom. Bouby asks Hookit for an unsigned transaction and the wallet signs it. Launching costs 0.0005 ETH, plus gas.

Where a swap goes

Every swap pays a 1% base. That base is the same on every Bouby. On top of it, the swap pays the hook tax chosen for that token. Read the tax, the split, and the clock on the token itself.

Nothing is staked, and the creature has no second claim page. A token nobody trades pays nobody, creature included.

The X account

Step 2 connects an X account to this token. Hookit shows that profile on the coin. After Ink confirms, the creature posts from that account on its own.

The approval happens on X. Bouby never takes the password. The next person to launch connects their own account, and that account is the one that posts.

The guards

These switches are part of the token too. Turn them on, set the numbers, and the signature freezes that choice.

  • Anti-snipe

While it is on, early buys pay an opening tax that fades to zero across the window this token chose.

  • Anti-MEV

While it is on, one address can swap once per block.

  • Max transaction

While it is on, one swap cannot move more than the cap this token set.

Pairs

ETH is the straightforward pair, and an Ink wallet already holds ETH. The other pairs are there when you want the token priced against them.

What you bring

  • A wallet on Ink

MetaMask, Rabby, or Phantom. Deploy moves the wallet onto Ink, then asks you to sign.

  • A little ETH

0.0005 ETH covers the launch, and gas sits on top. The dev buy opens at zero.

  • An X account

The account this creature will post from. The launch waits until it is connected.

Once it is live

Ink's confirmation is the moment the token exists on Hookit. This browser remembers the launches made in it: the face, the pair, and the transaction.

That creature is spent. Another token needs another name. Plenty of them go to zero. Launch one because the creature is funny.
